FAQs
Do you offer local pick up? Can I pick up after hours?We do offer local pick up to pre-authorized users on the account. In accordance with federal law, all local pickups will require a valid government ID matched to the authorized user on the account.Unfortunately we do not use individual keyed boxes or have the ability to give after hours access. All local pickups require appointments during open hours, which can be quickly scheduled from your dashboard.
Do you handle HIPAA mail?We are happy to receive HIPAA mail on your behalf but we are only able to forward the sealed mail to you or allow local pickup. As per federal law, we do not offer the open and scan, disposal or shredding options for these pieces of mail.
HIPAA covers anything relating to private medical information including insurance benefit explanations, medical bills, test results or correspondence from doctors' offices, hospitals or medical insurance companies.

I use an alias or stage name in my business can you receive my mail under that name?YES! Fill out your official postal 1583 form with your legal name (or legal business entity name) and address (it is private and never displayed publicly). It's important that your ID and proof of address required for this form match the name on the form. The best way to add a stage name is to include it as a DBA on your 1583 form. We will then be able to receive mail for you under either name. We know how important safety and privacy are for public figures and we pride ourselves on honoring your privacy. Please reach out to us if you need assistance filling out your 1583 correctly.
I'm a full-time traveler or digital nomad, are you able to forward things to different addresses as I travel?YES. We can forward to any address (within reason) that you request. So long as one of the major carriers will deliver there (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL) Details must be communicated directly in the dashboard or from the email or phone used on your account, for verification purposes. Any sensitive information like credit cards etc. will be required to go via private services like UPS or FedEx with required photo ID verification upon arrival. Please plan accordingly.
Can I send someone to pick up my mail on my behalf?YES. When signing up you may list other authorized individuals to pick up on your behalf. Businesses may list additional designated employees allowed to pick up. In the case of an emergency or one-time pick up you may contact us through your dashboard to add individuals to your account. We may require verification as a precaution against fraud. All pick-ups will require a government ID be verified at pick up, as per federal law.
Will you throw out my junk mail?YES. Our dashboard allows you to designate an action for each piece of mail. Scan, Forward, Shred or Discard. We cannot do this automatically, as per federal law.
Can I use my virtual address for my LLC?YES. The state of Utah and most other states allow you to use a private mailbox address for the official address of your LLC. However, to keep your home address off the public LLC registration you may need a registered agent as well. Please verify with the state your LLC will be incorporated in. Please let us know if you need a registered agent service.
Why do you need my ID and home address?USPS requires identity and address verification before we can receive mail on your behalf. Your private enrollment information is separate from the return address you put on packages and will remain private with only us and USPS able to see your confidential information and 1583 form.
Can I use the PMB or return address without sending my outgoing packages through you?Yes. You send your packages yourself and use your assigned AddressVeil address as the return address. If a return arrives here, we’ll notify you.
Is there a fee every time I put my new return address on a shipping label?No. Your subscription covers use of your assigned return address. Charges apply when you request services such as scanning, shredding, or forwarding, and when applicable storage charges accrue.
